I'm learning I like building a lot more than updating the website.
I didn't shape the bottom corner of the IP. This way I could cut it to fit. I also extended the bottom of the IP 1/4". I've read that is was too short for most builders.
I used this tool to match the bottom curve.

I decided early on to assemble my fuse inverted as suggested by Wayne Hicks. The LEZ is assembled this way. I don't understand why Nat changed from this. You have a flat datum to work from in the upper longerons. It just makes sense.
F-22 didn't fit right. It was about 1/4 to 1/2" too wide. I finally trimmed it to fit. I'm still not sure why this happened.
Spodman helped assemble the fuse. Twisting ropes as described in the plans was cheep and worked very well.
Taping the bulkheads into place.
F28 canard reinforcement.
Aft LG bulkhead in place.
I screwed spacers to the Firewall to set the Aft LG bulkhead in position.
I made a couple spacers similar to what the plans described. I wasn't happy with it. They could move enough that I could insure the hole were aligned.
So I came up with this. It worked MUCH better and I would suggest this method. It wasn't until I was done and looked at Nat's pictures at the end of the chapter that I realized he did the same thing. So what the plans say and was is shown in his pictures are different.
As you can see it fits nice.
The first test flight.
More landing gear reinforcements
