Cozy Builders
-
Alexandre Souto (Portuguese) (91)
Alexandre is building in Brazil. His website is mostly in Portuguese but some is in English. Babel Fish does a reasonable job translating the site. The link named Alexandre Souto (English) automatically translated his site. http://babelfish.altavista.com/
(Updated to new website 9/13/08)
-
Chris Esselstyn (175)
Chris put a IO520 into his now legendary stretched Cozy MKIV.

Cozy Girrrls (384)

I've camped next to these ladies for the last couple years at Osh. The are both extremely intelligent and fascinating people. They are building an incredible Cozy. The detail is excruciating!!!
-
Craig Kossowski (246)
Chasing Mars
-
Jerry (Skip) Schneider (112)
Jerry has an entertaining site. Check out his tool section. Jerry's claim to fame is that he's building his plane in a TENT!!! I've not had the privilege of meeting Jerry yet, although I've seen him at various events.
-
Jim Springer (349)
Jim was the first builder I ever met. We exchanged emails before my first Osh and was going to camp together. That didn't happen, but on the bus to Cozy Lunch at Mark Beduhn's hanger he spotted my camera and knew it was me. He is building, but slow at times.
-
Joe Hull (127)
Nearing completion. I met Joe and his wife at the Cozy dinner at Oshkosh last year. He was amazed with the Gee Bee pedal plane I built my nephew. (See the photo gallery for pictures)
-
John Slade (108)
John has a recently finished bird and is currently debugging his rotary installation. John also host the Canard Aviation Forum.

Huge builder resource. Also host the Cozy Builders email list.
-
Nate Wolfe (Stealth Turtle) (377)
Nate camped behind Amy & I at Osh '05. Nate is just a really nice guy with a fascinating background. He's a former ATC from the Military and currently work in the IT department for The Limited Corp.
-
Omar Filipovic (358)
Omar is very early into his build. This is his links page which is very extensive.
-
Phillip Johnson (Kinda Kozy) (473)
Phillip is building a really innovative Cozy. Check out his site for thing like Retracts, Auto Conversion, & Homebuilt Prop. I've enjoyed camping near Phillip and his family at osh for the last few year. I have a ball shooting the bull with him late into the night.

Mark is a Cozy Builder-Wanna-Be. At one point he had second thoughts as to if he could fit. So he built a chipboard mock-up.
-
TTCSE - Tom Tugan (110)
Tom Tugan has developed an amazing cross referance for Cozy Builder. Extremely useful when wanting to look at a bunch of different sites on the same chapter.
